"Dog Training/Manners Tips for Beginners"
This class has changed! More helpful tips for dealing with your Canine Friend!

So you want to know how to get your dog to sit facing you and look into your eyes at the beginning of each command? Do you want your dog to lie quietly while you eat or friends come over? An attentive dog will make a good trainee and that is what we will be working on in this class. Helping ‘You’ to teach your dog to listen to you. Once you have master that, all other training comes much easier. This is a Positive Reinforcement class and teaches the dogs to THINK, plus many more helpful tips to train your dog to be a GREAT Family member.

This class teaches the ABC's of dog obedience and is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department of the city of Deer Park, Texas.

  Time and Location
The classes are held on Tuesdays 7:00 to 8:00pm at the Burke Activity Center (indoors in the back room), 500 W 13th Street in Deer Park. The sessions are one hour each week for eight weeks.

Make training fun is our motto!
Be sure to bring some tasty treats (Hot Dogs or String Cheese), Dog Toy, Dog mat or rug, Collar & Leash, and Clean-up item(Just in case!)

Share time
We share in a question and answer time at the end of each class and help in celebrating dog birthdays, show wins and just about any special occasion someone wants to bring snacks for! We cry with those that have an ailing dog or worse one that has passed on.
